On November 21st, 2017 Southwest Shipyard LP announced that Michelle Sylve has been promoted to the position VP of Finance. Michelle is replacing Martin Decamp in this role. Martin has recently assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer following the retirement of Mr. Read Boles.
Michelle, formerly the controller and interim VP of Finance for Southwest Shipyard LP, has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Accountancy from University of Houston.She came to Southwest Shipyard in 2014 after 7 years of working for a large downtown public accounting firm.
